At Mustard Seed Assistive Technology Consulting, we recognize that each school or school district, institution, family, or individual has different needs. We offer services including

• designing or recommending assistive technology tools, devices, systems, and training programs tailored to each client to increase functionality in the classroom, home, and workplace;

• conducting Assistive Technology (AT) evaluations;

• review of practices in use and making recommendations to ensure that your school, school district, or institution is in-line with the current regulations and guidelines stipulated in the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA);

• attendance at and participation in Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings;

• training individuals, staff, and families in the use of assistive technology tools, providing continued support in evaluating the tools, making adjustments, and facilitating repair as needed; and

• assisting schools and school districts in development of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to simplify differentiation of instruction and benefit all learners, nearly eliminating the needs for multiple accommodations and modifications for specific learners.
